Sponge Cake


Haloohaa, today we are going to make a very tasty cake, sponge cake, guaranted your kids gonna like it. Then your husband gonna love you more ! lets follow momskitchen ! :D
Ingredients:

½ tsp bicarbonate
Pinch of salt
2 tbsps lard or shortening
3 tbsps oil
4 eggs
½ cup sugar
½ cup milk
2 cups mix



Directions:

Beat the eggs in a very bowl. Add the sugar and continue beating till the mixture is thick and pale in color. Stir within the milk. Sift the flour, soda and salt along and fold into the egg mixture.
Melt the lard and permit to chill, then combine with the oil. Gently stir into the egg mixture. Pour into a lubricated eight in. spherical cake tin and steam for twenty minutes. take away the cake from the tin whereas still hot. delve half dozen to eight wedges and serve hot or cold.
